The Fund has not appointed a financial advisor because we believe in the member’s free choice.
Note, however, that despite the fact that much has been done to rid the industry of advisors who do not act in the client’s best interest, there are still advisors who could cause harm, and we include some guidance to ensure that your interests are protected.
Complaints:

Should you have a complaint regarding any aspect of the Fund, please submit it to us at yourfund@columbus.co.za
We will do the following:
1) The Fund Consult will respond to you within two weeks
2) If your complaint is not resolved, please contact the Principal Officer who must respond to you within 30 days.
3) Should your complaint remain unresolved after the Principal Officer responded to you, please send a request for review to the CRF Board Disputes Committee within two weeks, via the confidential email address yourfund@columbus.co.za. The Board will appoint a Committee of three members to consider your complaint. The Committee will consider the evidence and decide how to investigate your complaint. The Committee must respond to you within six weeks from receiving your referral.
4) Once the Committee responded to you, and your complaint remains unresolved, you have the option to refer the complaint to the Pension Funds Adjudicator.
